finished all my winter courses

advanced PHP was pretty cool. wish i could apply some of it to Pipeline.

advanced databases was pretty cool. nice intro to nosql.

analytics and metrics was really good. lots of python, lots of matplotlib, cool graphs

android was a trojan, pretty bad professor, pretty bad content and yet one of the most demanding courses i've taken so far.

the other courses were projects ↓

jan - april  ·  final exam done (i think i passed)

Applied Research Project

to even get into this course you had to apply and then be selected by the head professor, it was really nice i personally loved it. my group was amazing, shoutout to them.

built a Hybrid Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) system for a corporate intelligence business.

combines FAISS vector search with MongoDB document storage in a hybrid architecture, served through a FastAPI backend and Next.js frontend.

chat interface, CRUD admin interface, freemium access logic, etc.

signed an nda but still can talk about some parts :)

jan - april  ·  completed all objectives

swe project course

had a course which was all about building a project through the entire semester with your group for a real client.

built a mobile app concept designed to deliver daily mindfulness exercises, guided meditations, mood tracking, and personalised mental health reminders.

main focus was on frontend design, we received color palettes, mockups and a crafted vision from the client, really nice client btw.
